Shouichi gasped, and his grip on the couch tightened as his legs threatened to give way underneath him. The flush that had yet to completely disappear from the squad captain's cheeks darkened once more, and it took him more than a few tries before he could speak a full sentence again.
"I won't, not even if the two of us didn't...do this."
Just another lie. One more lie to add to the thousands he'd spoken in the course of their...whatever they had.
