Weaknesses: Byakuran has a superiority complex, he feels since he knows a lot, more than most, then he feels that makes him a higher being. He wants to be different from everyone else, because he doesn’t enjoy his ordinary life. When he realizes his ability, he automatically believes that it is a sign of his greatness. And the allure of becoming something like a god tempts feeding his inner inferiority.

Personality: In the beginning, we could only see Byakuran as a threat to Vongola and the world, the menace that plunged the peaceful future into chaos and tragedy. And while these are all true, there is more to the antagonist than his power-hungry motives or his lack of remorse for the events he made possible.
What seems natural to the multi-world conqueror is his laid back demeanor. Byakuran is causal and easy going, usually seen lounging, or snacking while everyone else is having a hard time. Even his rapport with his subordinates is informal, and he insists that his subordinates not use honorifics to address him, feeling it is too stifling. Even before the events of the future, Byakuran has been shown to be laid back, going by what interests him. Byakuran can also be quite playful, liking to tease his subordinates, probably because the reaction amuses him.
But it seems as if his carefree attitude is also an attribute to his ability. There is no reason for him to worry, if he knows all the risks and has created multiple provisions to protect himself. Byakuran can relax, because he’s confident in his ability and the environment he created for himself.
Despite being carefree, Byakuran is ruthless. He has no problem killing anyone in his way, or a person he’s lost interest in. In the future, Byakuran has killed many especially most of the Arcobaleno in order to take their pacifiers to complete the Tri-ni-sette policy, and he is comfortable with the bloodshed continuing. This ruthlessness is also revealed when things don’t go his way, or as planned. He tends to lash out at anyone and make threats.
Byakuran is also very observant. He was able to notice the message Leornado Lippi ( who was really Mukuro Rokudo in disguise) unknowingly gave, presenting Datura flowers to Byakyran which has a meaning of “disguise”. During his fight with Mukuro, he is able to size the illusionist up, noticing that he has two Hell rings, which are rare and powerful, but still no match against his own power. He was even able to foresee Shouichi Irie’s betrayal, knowing that his best friend didn’t entirely agree with his methods.
What ultimately motivates Byakuran is fun. The conquest of the parallel worlds in universe is entertainment for him. If there is no fun, then Byakuran isn’t interested. He views everything as a game. People are either opponents to beat, or pawns to use, and items, such as his own ring and the pieces of the tri-ni-sette are only special items to get to the ultimate prize. Because of this perception, Byakuran is detached and selfish, forgoing the value of people lives and using them in any way possible to achieve his ultimate goal.
Despite his outlook, Byakuran does have some kind of heart, when it comes to his best friend, Shouichi. Their friendship started even before he became boss of the Millefiore family. He’s able to tease him and has shown great confidence in him. Perhaps with Shouichi, Byakuran is able to show that side that hasn’t been corrupted by absolute power. Revealing a person who genuinely likes to have a good time, not someone who is detached to the point where fun is his condescending outlook of the world.
Fears: It may not seem like Byakuran is afraid of anything due to his carefree demeanor, but the one thing that makes him lose his cool is not being in control. In planning world domination in various parallel worlds, Byakuran has been able to plan ahead. Using the knowledge he has gained from other worlds, to solve problems he may have in other worlds. In his position of infinite knowledge, it seems hard to not be in control, but there are times even he is bested. Things other worlds could not tell him, or circumstances that were not present, when this happens he gets nervous and drops his easy-going façade, showing his ruthless and panicked side.
Perhaps, even in a psychological standpoint, Byakuran also doesn’t know where he stands in the world. Before he became a dimensional overlord, he was simply a normal person, doing mundane things. So that is why he alters worlds and makes a place for himself as leader, a position of importance.

This over-confidence makes him underestimate his opponents, and devalue the lives of others. Throughout the future arc, he is often using people for his own benefit. Like sending Uni’s soul out of her body, so he can control her. Or even deceiving his subordinates such as Shouichi, Rasiel and Gamma by giving them fake mare rings and keeping the real Funeral Wreaths a secret.
Even the laid back appearance that we are shown within his headquarters is proof of how little he takes his own mafia seriously. The Millefiore family only serves to give Byakuran what he wants, the items needed to complete the tri-ni-sette. The organization is only a tool that Byakuran has at his disposal.
Perhaps this is why he’s act nonchalant, taking the current events of the future with a blithe-like attitude. Thinking its fun, to see the young members of Vongola struggle through each trial, but when in fact their struggle is what he feeds on to empower himself.
Byakuran also likes his sweets, it’s close to an addiction, he’s usually being seen snacking on them.
Whenever he uses his power to look into other parallel worlds, he must recover for a period.
Mundane Strengths/Abilities: Byakuran is pretty intelligent, and since he was able to play Choice with Shouichi Irie, an engineering expert, it must mean Byakuran is able to strategize pretty well. This is shown in his conquest of the other parallel worlds in the universe. Even if he is aided by infinite knowledge, he is able to use that information to his advantage. Whether it is finding the best way to utilize his newfound knowledge, whether it is recruiting the best men for his army, or even how to introduce a new type of technology not available in one world to be usable for his benefit, Byakuran is able to used his knowledge to create his ideal setting. Making it easier for him to take over a world, if he has all the tools he needs.

Byakuran has also been shown to have healing abilities, or knowledge of them, but this can also be a part of Byakuran’s knowledge that he receives from other worlds. He was able to cure Genkishi of rare disease from this knowledge.
Because he is the bearer of the Mare ring, he can produce dying will flames, which is using his life energy to power attacks and weapons. He holds the Sky Flame, one of the rarest kind of dying will flames.

Another uneventful day, Byakuran considered as he laid on the couch within his office. His position lazy and relaxed, his head lolled back as he stared up at the ceiling, and his arms draped the back of the chair with legs wide. The supreme commander was definitely spreading himself all over his furniture. And why couldn’t he? This was his office. His building. His domain. He could do whatever he wished.
The same old boring reports came in. They had killed another person, but not a ring bearer, so their search continued. The perimeters are all secure, because there was hardly any threat. No sign yet of the Vongola, because they were being cowards and went into hiding. It was utterly boring, and also....frustrating.

Things were going much too slowly for the Mafioso. He knew that things could not be accomplished overnight, yet after conquering many worlds like this, Byakuran would think that the process would be faster. But it wasn’t. The higher he rose, the more strategic he needed to be. One successful move called for more attention for the next one they would take. If there was one slip, he knew he would be pushed back a few paces, and reaching his goal will take even longer.
It was the same case when you played a game, he considered. It was long and grueling. There are parts you skate through, and other areas which are more difficult to pass. But at the end, the prize is worth it. You saved the day, or in Byakuran’s case, capture another world.
“They say, good things come to those who wait, don’t they?” The don of the Millefiore said to himself, as his lilac eyes continued to gaze up at the ceiling. His mind wandering. He wondered if that implied to regular people who could not control their fate. He was unlike them. Given the power of infinite knowledge, he could make his own fate, rewrite his destiny. A regular person could not even fathom what he has accomplished.
“Then I’ll just figure out how to manipulate time, that’s all.” He hummed, not thinking his claim was incredulous, but possible.
